another couple of things

The car they rented us was a Dodge Avenger, black with a rear spoiler. It was cool. *g* But it was a automatic and underpowered. :::shrug::: But then again, it had satellite radio. I found the vinyl rock channel and our sound track for the most beautiful scenery I've ever seen was The Doors, The Beatles, CSN&Y, Tull, The Band.... The down side was that I had Ballroom Blitz in my head for two days and just when I'd almost forgotten it, they played it again.

While up there, we wanted to try Alberta Beef. And for you carnivores, it was excellent. Usually when I eat a large piece of beef, I get tummy upset. Not so with this. My guess is that I've been reacting to all the crap we put in the cattle here in the States.

Well, thanks for the 'ballroom blitz' lyrics...now it's stuck in my head!LOL.
Welcome home, and sorry it had to be a nasty hot spell on your return. It hadn't been bad up to that point. I don't know why we always have to be punished when we return home from vacation. I know I do. If it's not a pet problem, then something is wrong with the car or something. Weird!
