Two, I've read a spoiler for SG1. Let's all hold hands and sing to give us the optimism to believe that this might be cool and entertaining and not a bad thing.
Well, two things (since there's much to be said for positive reframing): 1) it's going to give Michael Shanks stuff to do that he'll probably get a real kick out of, and 2) it will also hopefully give him a bunch of screentime. I hope. And hopefully the others will get to act like they give a crap about him, but that may be a step too far... ;)
That would be one of my fondest wishes (that and that Daniel gets back to normal.) I know Teal'c and Vala will care, because their actors care and they will show it even if it's not written. I don't know what BB or AT will do.

Even if your #1 and #2 are true, though, I still don't want to see it. I don't want screen time for MS/Daniel at any cost, I guess.
