Smallville: Sometimes I feel like that show and I may use the same language but the definitions are different. I have not see this evil Lex Clark and Lana think is so apparent. I am so sick of Lana. I can't wait for Michael R. to be off this show so I quit watching it!!

SGA Missing: Okay, I dislike Keller even more than I did before. She still strikes me as a young, naive student nurse and then some. Killers are stalking her and she won't shut up or keep it down. Teyla's people are GONE and Keller is too self absorbed to have any sympathy even after they are back in Atlantis. Teyla was magnificent but I felt so sorry for her being responsible for Keller. Hell, even Rodney isn't that bad.

Aside from Keller, there were many things about this ep that really annoyed me. I think it was so predictable. Of course she was going to sprain her ankle, of course she is afraid of heights and will fall from that bridge in the very middle to hang by one hand. Of course she is going want to not kill the cannibals chasing them. Of course she will show her development by finally hurting one of the bad guys. By the end of this episode, I would have imagined that Teyla and Keller would have respected each other but if I were Teyla, I'd never want to go out on a mission with Keller every again.

Supernatural: I liked the ghost ship, I like the ghost. I even liked the boys in suits. I don't like Bella. She's a sociopath. She considers everyone cannon fodder; I can't see her saving someone's life if it cost her $5. She's gonna be in multiple eps and since she's not a villain (and has already propositioned Dean to have "angry sex") one must assume she is on the side of good. News flash: she's not a good person. For over two years, the writers have encouraged us to feel for these two brothers and emphasize with them. Now we have a reoccurring character tell us how stupid they are and bad mouth them. How does this endear her to me? I thought she was too much in her first ep but forgave it since 'too strong' is a frequent fault on debutes. In this ep, she was more of the same but then the boys saved her life. She tries to buy off the debt with cash. The next ep she's in will be telling. If she is the same smart mouth, rude, greedy sociopath then the writers are selling her as a sexy, fun character and could not be more wrong about this.

Moonlight was the best episode yet. Very interesting and made me want to see the next one. Ooooh, a mystery. :)

Criminal Minds: Not liking the new character. Am I suppose to?

Heroes: Much better.

CSI/Without a Trace: Loved Grissom. I am so tired of LaPaglia chewing the scenery, grunting and then shouting and brutalizing prisoners.

Ugly Betty is still making me laugh and then surprising me.

I have decided when the writer's strike pulls all my shows, I'm gonna watch my dvds of Wiseguy, Forever Knight and Twin Peaks. Oh, and Highlander.

Supernatural I only saw a bit of it and shut it off, I can't stand Bela and she's supposed to be in 10 more episodes? :-(

Criminal Minds, ditto. I don't care about his secret and he's not established enough to be doing the voice overs in my book :-(

Heroes, much much better. I'm going to stick with it now that I've read Kring's interview, he knows what's wrong and he recognized it. What a novelty a showrunner that takes criticism and does something about it :-)

Second year of Ugly Betty and it's still good, YAY!

Did you get the gold set of Twin Peaks? That's the one I have and I'm planning on doing the same as you immerse myself in it properly since I haven't seen it in ages :-)

I didn't get the Wiseguy DVDs although I am tempted but I promised myself I was going to finish watching the pile of unwatched DVDs I have first and then of course the MFU ones should be out soon so there goes quite a few hours of TV watching right there ;-)

Oh yeah. MFU. Be sure and tell us how they are. I'm very tempted to get them.

Gold set? No, I don't know anything about that. Actually, Now that I think about it, maybe the set I have is just the first season. Is the gold set the full thing? I'm going to have to go check.

They haven't released all of Wiseguy. I don't think the Music arc or the last arc was released. I keep hoping....

Criminal Minds. Yep, I was VERY surprised to hear him doing the voice over. And why did he send Morgan and JJ to the bar? I thought that put them both in needless danger. Yeah, send the black guy and the blonde into a room filled with armed white supremacists who hate the FBI. Did he want them to get hurt?

Yeah, I just wanted to give Kring a hug and say THANK YOU. What a breath of fresh air. If he was at Bridge, he'd be telling us how this new season is the best yet and we were all stupid for thinking it's now.

Supernatural: Oh, I hate Bela. I can't believe they introduced the character as an amoral killer for money, then they're going to try to make her have some kind of tragic past that will make us like her. No, no, no. (And if she wanted to pay off her debt? She should have given them a lot more than $10,000. In the last episode she was in, she stole lottery tickets worth $37,000. She's still $27,000 in the hole.)

Without a Trace: I've stopped watching. They have all these great characters, and they've all be stuck in the background. Way, way in the background, as LaPaglia's character chews the scenery. He's boring and I just want him to go away.

I'm sad that there aren't more interesting shows on TV. Nothing seems to grab my attention right now.

I think you'll hear me when I do get them. I'm pretty sure the whole world will hear me ;-)

Gold set? No, I don't know anything about that. Actually, Now that I think about it, maybe the set I have is just the first season. Is the gold set the full thing? I'm going to have to go check.

The Gold set is new and has both seasons plus the movie and some other stuff. However if you don't think you want to buy it but you do need Season 2 let me know. I have Season 2 still shrink wrapped that I need to get rid of.

I'm a little weary of buying the Wiseguy sets since I heard that not all the music used on the show is on the DVDs and like you I'm wanting to see the whole thing.

I was really disappointed when they had the new guy do the voice over. He hasn't earned it yet in my book and yeah I think that sending Morgan and JJ was weird.

Kring is now my new hero. A showrunner that actually apologizes to fans and states that yes they made mistakes and will be fixing them instead of telling us that we are all bad fans for not embracing the changes? What a novelty, what a concept! I'm thinking of sending a copy of the interview to both the boys at bridge and Kripke with a note that says "See that? That's how you handle mistakes, you learn from them and fix them instead of blaming the audience."

I SO agree with you about SGA. The only part of the episode I enjoyed was Teyla being feisty and dangerous, and the goofy scenes with the guys back home. Otherwise, it left me bored and disgusted that they have to show the little Earth girl being all wimpy, etc. How the hell would someone like that get a posting to another GALAXY, for God's sake?!

I watched CSI and Trace this week for the first time in a couple years, in order to see the crossover. CSI not too bad because I still like Grissom, but I was just fast-forwarding throught Trace, which is why I quit watching it in the first place. If I had unlimited time, I might go back to watching CSI, but I hate to say that I can probably skip Trace from now on. They've never made me really care for any of the characters. I used to watch for the interesting Missing Persons stories, but those have gotten pretty repetitive, too.

See you next weekend at Creation?

I don't care what happened to her in the past and, yes, I know it will be tragic and she will have been justified. She's a cold blooded killer now to anyone that gets in her way. If she were a man I think the writers would have interpreted her differently. I get very disgusted that a man thinks a pretty girl is can be forgiven for anything. Logically speaking, the longer she hangs around the boys, the sooner one of them will be killed. She's toxic.

Can you imagine Daniel's expression if someone like her had suggested angry sex? (The Boys at Bridge are just as juvenile about this subject but at least Shanks would have let Daniel react sensibly. Probably.) *g*

Yep, she still owes them what she stole from them, too. She lies and cheats and kills as the preferred way to behave.

For WAT, I ff through it now hoping to see the supporting cast get to do something. It's so sad. I hope those actors are being well paid. They certainly will never get to improve their chops on that show.

I watch a lot of B level shows, things that I like a character or two. A levels, things that surprise and delight me are Boston Legal, Ugly Betty and Dexter. Heroes may get moved up to that level again. Nothing I'm fannish about except SG1, and SGA to a point.

There was an extra intensity about her, probably because she wanted to DO SOMETHING about her people being missing and was saddled with a whiny, spoiled child that couldn't be trusted to do ANYTHING by herself. That would make me pissed, too. Doctors go though enough shit in their training that they wouldn't be like her. She acts like a teenager. A few weeks ago, she gave Teyla Ambien, then pulled one out for herself after having a bad dream. That is SO not correct and demonstrates very bad judgment for someone in her position. I do like the actress but Keller is a nightmare.

Yes, I'll see you next weekend. I'm rooming with Deej and Mon again. *g*

Yes, I was thinking someone needed to post a link to Kring's statement to Mallozzi's blog and see if he'd respond to it. *g*

Oh, and I'll check to see if I'd picked up S2 of Twin Peaks and get back to you. I was researching it this morning and see that the extras on it aren't repeated on the gold set. Hmmmmm....

I haven't seen that SPN episode yet, but I will probably watch it--partly because so many people on my flist told me not to. *g* So far this season, my biggest concern is how off Dean seems. Even when the guys are together they have no connection, and Dean seems like a completely different character to me.

I get what you're saying about Bela, though. I bet that will bug me, too, but I guess we'll see. Is she in next week's episode?

It's always best to see for yourself. I'm not fannish about this show; in fact I'm kinda watching it now because most of my flist does. Maybe the causal male viewer will think Bela is hot and fun. I can't figure out why they would write her this way. This ep itself has some interesting bits. I look forward to hearing what you think about it.

You know, I still have five eps of The War on Tivo. *g* I just need the time to watch them.

I still have all of the episodes of The War on the Tivo. I have to get my husband to finish watching it or save it to DVD or something. :-)

I watched the whole thing, and it was a killer. One morning I was watching it before I had to go for a conference with my English professor. When I stopped by the ladies' room to freshen up before the meeting, I noticed that my face looked like I'd been balling my eyes out for hours. I really hadn't been crying *that* much, but it was rather embarrassing.

I am fannish about Supernatural, but it's waning now. :-( The show is so different and the characters are so different that I can't love it the way that I used to. I didn't like Bela in the last episode that she was in, and it does seem like she's sort of Vala-lite or something. I had no interest in seeing Vala redeemed in such a ridiculous way either. There's no way I want to see something similar repeated with a bad actress while they're also making my favorite character into a big jackass. *g* It's like season 10 of Stargate all over again--and I didn't make it all the way through that either, but at least Claudia Black was an awesome actress and fun to watch even when I hated what they were doing to the show and to Daniel. *g*

This is actually worse than season 10 of SG-1 in other ways, too. Besides ruining the characters, they've changed the character of the show and the character of the brothers' relationship and none of it makes any sense.

Usually I wait to read reviews until I've seen the episodes, but this time around I'm glad I've read reviews first. When I finally get around to watching it, maybe it won't seem so bad because I'm expecting it to be so much worse. *g*
