You have a good point.I could never see Daniel and Vala getting together because she always played far too many games. Your observation is interesting because Michael and I specifically went to Robert Cooper the EP and said basically that it was a surprise to us that they were going to be together and that if they were to be , it had to be justified; both of them were going to have to really clear away all the nonsense and facades and get very real. I think the original draft had Daniel quite softly confessing his affections to her and we both thought he would be very frustrated and that out of this frustration and anger, Vala would finally see the effect she was having on him and drop the game.

Interesting -- thanks for pointing it out. In another post she remarks how she's still close to Ben and his family, and to Michael and Lexa, and that she and Lexa are similar creatures. So Michael must have felt at home wherever he was. :)
