First, I was delighted that Wallace & Gromit won an Oscar. Yay!!

Second, I finally watched Inferno. It seems Sheppard is finally developing a personality. Too bad it's one I don't like. What a jerk.

Third, looks like the offspring of fathers raping their daughters are now protected in South Dakota. Now that's progress!

It's more than a little tempting to engage in a little ad hominem and suggest that many of South Dakota's elected officials are the offspring of fathers raping their daughters, but I can't. It's too depressing.

Boo to the abortion ruling too! I was disappointed but not really surprised. I feel sad too, for the victims who have nowhere to go now...can they go out of state?
Huzzah for Wallace and Gromit! Hopefully the applause and congrats will be followed by backers, money etc to help fund the replacement of a lot of equipment and stuff lost in the fire.

They can go out of state if they have the means to do so. Poor women, and the aforementioned teenaged girls raped by their fathers, will be out of luck. Rich women will go to more liberal states to have the procedure done.

I just don't get these people and how they can think this is a good thing. I'm anti-abortion and even I have issues with laws this constrictive.
