N. John Smith said the cast was up in the Arctic already, filming stuff. He also said they were giving Entertainment Tonight live feeds so watch for news of the production on that show. He also said there were British and US military news crews up there so those sources might also have some news about the filming.

He said that due to Michael's conflict in schedule, he would not be able to film his scenes in the arctic so they would be building a set for him to do his scenes in later.

RCC Cooper is still an ass. As a joke at the end of his talk, he motioned forward the innocent young fan who had asked a question about the movie and as a reward, gave her the script he'd read from asking for a promise not to revel the ending. She was in awe. Then he flipped through the script displaying that all the rest of the pages were blank. Bastard. It seemed rather cruel to me.

Got to go!

He is and always will be a total asshat to the fans of his own show. It's a wonder the show has been able to hold onto fans with HIS attitude. Oh yeah: it's because the actors are without fail wonderful to see at conventions. It's a good thing most conventions don't have producers to fuck up the good-will.

Especially RCC and JM. Now, N. John Smith is an absolutely lovely man. Very generous and so cool. We need more of him, less of RCC.

I'm very glad Michael's 24 schedule is being allowed for. All of these actors need to be able to continue in other things, but considering the SG-1 schedule was set first I'm surprised this has been okay.

Yeah, I was too. Probably because the scheduling and budget are the responsibility of N. John Smith and he seems decent enough to do things like that for the actors that have worked with him for ten years.

I hope TIIC don't use his stint on 24 as an excuse not to film any scenes with RDA, which I wouldn't put past them.

Also, RCC? Prime quality jackass. Like we needed more evidence that certain people need to get over themselves and soon. Jeez.

I'm afraid the years have just embolden him, unfortunately. He read the most boring teaser ever and thought it was brilliant. I was confused and thought he was reading...er...was it the opener for Atlantis? Where the two Atlantians were discussing they were going to have to leave Earth and go elsewhere?

Whatever happened to that writer's rule about not starting at the beginning of a story, but to start in the middle of the action?

God, I thought RCC was just a dick to his fans in writing for them. In person, too? Bleh!!!

Yeah. The girl was maybe mid to late teens and was breathless that she was going to get such a wonderful prize. Honestly, RCC is the type of man that would take candy from a baby just to see them cry...and then eat it in front of them.
