Varmit update

Momma and her three babies came by tonight. After being nightly visitors for weeks, they were no shows for four nights in a row. I was very worried.

I was off to a quick trip to Ventura today. The drive there was so nice, and the trip back was twice as long due to traffic. :( When I got home, Brindle came in and he's been in another altercation. A couple of scratched ears, a bloodied nose, dirty fur and spittle around the neck fur. He needed consoling, a little something to eat and now he's in a cardboard box next to the oven. That cat has the worst time of it.

Poor Brindle!

I missed the traffic on the way home, but man did I hit the WIND! My hands and arms were tired by the time I got to Lompoc. It was amazing. Worth it though :-)

They said it was gonna get windy yesterday. It always seems to be windy just before that tunnel where the 101 goes inland and I wondered if it was gonna be worse there for you.

It's windy here today. And hot, and getting hotter. Would you believe it's supposed to be 98-100 for three days? :(

I had a great time, though perhaps I was too chatty. *g*

So, what did Casper do with the staircase? Ignore it? I think Reg had to discover it for himself; me urging him to use it was a no-go.
