Cute Brindle story

Mom has been corresponding with a distant family member in England. He mentioned The Pogues "Fairytale of New York." She hadn't heard of it and so googled it and clicked on the youtube link. Brindle, who still has possession of the computer chair (Mom is balanced on a stool off to the side so she can still use the computer--sort of) and has never shown much interest in the computer at all, sat straight up and stared fascinated at the computer until the song ended.

Brindle is a orange tabby...maybe he's Irish? *g*

I heard that song..a lot while I was home, and I really like it. So, as soon as I got back I downloaded it off iTunes. Cool! Got back New Years Eve, and still feeling a bit dopey in the evenings (like now!) but I'm hoping to be over the jet lag soon. Also had a stinking cold which is now leaving except for a cough that is gross. I think I caught it after attending a pantomime in Hull of 'Jack and the Beanstalk' which was very funny, in a rude pantomimy way!There were kids behind me, coughing and sneezing all over me, the little dears...
