I did weed whacking yesterday and ended with some pruning down at the street. I was putting all my weight behind the big pruning nippers and when the base of the sapling finally cut through. I, of course, fell forward giving a glancing blow to the telephone pole before falling into the street. I really didn't want to deal with it last night so I just washed it well and shook my head at all the mess. I've just spent over an hour with a needle and tweezers digging out at least two dozen splinters from my right forearm. The fall onto the asphalt gave me some skinned knuckles on right hand, not too bad though. So aside from that, no other damage. I work Fri/Sat/Sun though and it's going to be a bitch rubbing alcohol into my hands 40 times a night.
