A new show will be starting in August. Is this worth watching? Sounds like Journey Man meets Torchwood.

Opinions? Any cute guys???

It's kinda meh. There's one guy that OK looking, but thats about it. I really don't watch BBC programs for the hot guy action.

I downloaded the first few episodes when it first came out a few years ago.

I won't watch a show just for a cute guy, but I'll stick with a blah show longer than I should. There is just nothing on right now. I'm watching all sorts of educational and nature shows right now. And dvds. Hokey monsters and someone mildly cute would be diverting. *g*

I quite like it. Someone on my flist was talking about it so I went online to watch an episode out of curiosity - and ended up sitting there watching both series straight through. It's not OMG amazing, but I found it engaging. It's quite different than Torchwood, as Primeval's rifts tend to open into prehistoric times, but the two shows are complementary enough to make for GREAT crossovers, in a 'my rift is bigger than your rift,' 'my techie is smarter than your techie' kind of way. ;)

Cute is in the eye of the beholder, of course, but I think the guys are attractive (one is even Scottish, which does it for me!), and it drips with slash potential. Fun characters and relationships.

JMHO, but give it a try!

Well, that sounds worth a gander at least. And I do like a Scottish accent, too.

Effects have gotten a lot better. It used to be something with monsters would be fairly painful to watch but now it could be kinda cool.

I've seen the entire series to date. Personally, I loved it. However, it might not be to everyone's tastes. Especially in that a few things are predictable. However, the interactions between the characters are absolutely wonderful.
