I'm finally feeling almost normal from the post Comic Con con-crud. So much to do....

Right now I'm watching Bones and skimming Mallozzi's blog. From July 27, Robert Cooper said this, "Without his support I never would have become showrunner in season seven." He is referring to RDA.

Very interesting. Feather that into whatever theory you have for the upset of Season six. (Fits into mine perfectly.) *g*

Doctor Who. I avoided spoilers and agree it was pretty good. Very imaginative. First, Rose sounded like she was wearing false teeth; anyone know what that was about? Second, I really liked seeing all the companions together; that was cool...and K9, too! Stealing the Earth gets extra points for imagination. I was kinda overwhelmed by the cumulative Dalek force. They appeared so suddenly and they were so massive...it kind of stunned me. I really didn't like what happened to Donna. I thought she was okay but the scene where she's pleading with the Doctor blew me away. Taking her memories was so unfair. And lastly, while I didn't care for Rose, I thought she was treated unfairly, too. What did the newly made Doctor whisper to her? That he loved her? Is that enough to make her kiss him when she so obviously hasn't transfered her feelings yet to him as she hasn't really acknowledge that he is the Doctor? And I take it Martha and Mickey will be joining Torchwood?

SGA: I enjoyed last Friday's episode more than any so far this season.
Like others, I was a little "Huh?" by Teyla being suddenly so technical. I'm sure she's capable of it, but come on you lazy writers--show us, don't tell us. I suppose the Borg are the new villians? Oh joy. More robotic/anonymous 'villains' that they can empty gun magazines into. :::yawn::: So, what did I like? I've always been keen to see an ep with all the team members interacting with each other. Yes, this was a bottle show filmed completely at the studio, but hey, they all talked to each other. Yay! *g*

Oh the Tru Blood site is kinda fun.

The upset of Season 6? I came late to the fandom so I'm not sure what you refer to. Now I am intrigued and would love to hear your theory.

It's the same thing we've figured out, but now we've got Cooper saying that RDA was a main player in deciding who would be the showrunner of SG1 in Season 7. Wright was out and RDA was large and in charge. *g*

Yeah, I'm agreeing with you there. I think BW got a little screwed himself, perhaps.

And the True Blood site is cool. But... Sunday nights at 9 pm?? Oh wait. My HBO is on my DISH in the bedroom so that's Sunday nights at 6 pm.
