Lake Louise

Today was an easy day. Mom was looking tired and luckily, all we were going to do today was check out Lake Louise and Lake Moraine. After breakfast, we went back to our room and...took a nap. *g* Mom looked better for it. Then we went to Lake Moraine and sat by the shore and just absorbed the beauty for at least an hour. I took many photos but I will only bore you with only one.

And lastly, the famous Lake Louise. It was cloudy and late in the day. The photo was eh compared to how pretty it could have been.

When were you up here? I spent two nights each in Banff, Jasper and Lake Louise thinking that would be plenty, but we really could have spent longer (if the money held out, that is....)

I was there in 2004, for a wedding. We stayed over and did a bunch of hiking and sightseeing. Great trip! We hiked up the mountain with the tram and took the tram ride down.
