Tonight's episode, The Innocents, was excellent. It had a few twists, but the story was very poignant, and very well told. There was nothing going on with the continuing characters that made me want to punch them *g*, even Jack was okay in this one. Just a little Eric Close, but his scenes were good. If you're dling, this one would be worth your effort. It starts a little slow but becomes compelling. The last shot makes me sniffle, and I'm not a sniffler.

Gakked from Grac and Scribe

1) Daniel Jackson because he's determined to make the world a better place and do the best he can. He is guided by the ideals that would make anyone a better person. He never gives up, is loyal and is so passionate about knowledge. He is someone I would want to know.

2) Methos because he has seen so much and has probably done everything. He's a study in contrasts and contradictions. He's intriguing because in order to survive, he has adapted, done things he regrets, but manages to live with all that self knowledge and still want to live longer. He's a puzzle.

3) Hannibal Heyes. I do adore him. He's smart, loyal and funny. He is also trying to change his ways, striving to be better.

4) LaCroix. Another character who has lived a long time and has been forced to adapt. The interesting thing about LaCroix is he is unapoligetic about being a vampire. He revels in what he is and yet though the death and casual cruelty, there's a soul of perceptive and poetic man. He's another puzzle, another person who's filled with contradicitons.

5) Ruby, the Galatic Gumshoe. Off all the women characters, she is the one I most adore because she's so real. Yet, she's tough, smart and capable, and has room in her life for humor and friendship. She's a delight. She's a character on a radio drama and can be found here:
