Oh frigging hell!

tenayaYet another raging fire. The mayor of Los Angeles is on the tv right now saying the fire is threatening the power lines that serve LA. If they go, so goes the power. He wants us not to use electricity today even though it's going to be near 100 degrees.
I just got home after running my ass off all night saving babies and I have to work tonight. If he thinks I'm going to stew in my own juices for 8 hours before I bounce up to report to work all fresh and ready to go, he's frelling crazy. I'll turn off a lot but I am not turning off the A/C.
Is it me or does it feel like the world is slowly unraveling on oh so many levels?
And needless to say, we'd be lost without all those brave firefighters. I can't watch the news anymore as it's rows of houses in flames. I just can't take it anymore.
