Planets and moon makes smiley face

I image you all have noticed the scary monsters in the sky whispering to each other, plotting to destroy us all wonderful celestial event in the sky last night. The folk on the other side of the world got the benevolent version:

I DID see the two very bright stars in the sky last night, with the moon on the side a bit. I thought, wow, those MUST be planets, but they are VERY bright. Glad to see I wasn't the only one who noticed the really bright stars.

I stopped on my way in to work on Sunday. "Whoa! What's happening up there?!" I was a happy face one night, a frowny face the next.

So, extra points to us for actually looking up at the sky. :)
