Mom has decided that Cho is channeling Joe Friday of Dragnet. Cho was pretty funny last night, Mr. Sharp Dressed Man himself. Loved his pickup line! I couldn't believe that Rigsby was going to attempt the casanova's technique on Van Pelt. Give her contempt? Wrong, wrong, wrong! And women are an accordian? LOL! And as always, loved the subtlety of Jane still wearing his wedding ring and politely declining the invites from the pretty girls. Very good show.

ROFL, that's what my husband said last night, too! And he was right! I think Cho is hysterical--the actor keeps letting little things slip (like you know the guy might be uptight like Gus on Psych, but let's loose once in a while).

Whee! Simon Baker was on Leno the other night. I caught it at Hulu. He's very self-deprecating.

Also, Whee! Mentalist love!

Oh yeah, I've thought that for a while. He was too adorable last night. His face when that woman started to cry - OMG, what do I do NOW, Jane?

PJ was so contemptuously bemused by Mr. Love 'em & leave 'em, and the comment he made about having someone who loves you no matter what - he wouldn't have been looking for what those girls were offering, he had more once, and wants it again.

Too true. He was pretty annoyed that PJ interrupted his interrogation then dismissed the guy. He doesn't back down. Loved that "one call only gets me a pizza" line.

I missed it. I'll have to look that up when I've time.

He was on Letterman a month or so ago. It was a bit awkward because he is good friends with Nicole Kidman and she was on first and things were very odd between her and Letterman. She kind of came off as a bit dim because he would talk about other things and that threw her and she'd say, but I'm here to talk about Australia (her new film.) They weren't in synch at all. And then SB came out and he was sort of looking for a opportunity to get a zinger or two in there.

Yep. That was panic alright!

PJ can't get past his wife. He's not looking for anything except Red John and then he'll kill him and nothing else matters after that to him.

Oh, I missed the Letterman one. (I only caught Leno's because I had seen ads for it. I'm more a Daily Show/Colbert Report girl.) I'll have to see if I can find it.

Leno's they didn't talk about the Mentalist either, except for a tiny "bit" about speaking with an American accent. He mentioned a bit about the fires and where he grew up and then a long story about how he got roped into giving this fan?woman a three hour surfing lesson because of a charity auction. Leno played it up and Baker started blushing and it was awkward but in a more self-deprecating way.

Yes! That was *awesome*! Almost as if he's learned how to deal with an overbearing person while growing up (darned parents!).

Though it might be funny to find out his parents are counter-cultural beat-nick types instead of the stereotypical Asian Parents who push their kids through school, etc. (Family Ties?)

You might be right. I can't really see stern parents producing Cho.

I wonder if there's fanfic....

Awesome, thanks! I went to cbs to look for it, but then got distracted watching the 1549 crew interview and forgot.

Watched them. Ouch. That was painful. I forgot Nicole was his kid's godmother. wow. (why they had TV Guides as reading in a doctor's waiting room, I have no idea, but that's how I read it).

Dave at times can be a gracious and savvy interviewer, and sometimes he can...I dunno. Sometimes it's the guest too (see Joaquin Phoenix), but it didn't look that way for Nicole. I'm not necessarily a big fan of hers one way or t'other. But...wow. Her body language was screaming "I'm uncomfortable!"

I loved Cho in that episode. I've always liked him, but he really got to shine in that episode.
