Title: Rhapsody in Blue

Challenge: Farscape episode title
He says it all through his eyes. I find it odd that blue has so many different shades: determination, awe, disappointment, surprise, pain. He’s an idealist, one of the worst I’ve come across. The trouble is the universe hates idealists and, dammit, there’s a world of hurt coming his way. Yet I’d save him from it if I could, because I prefer the blue of joy to the blue of despair. I’ve learned the hard way that there’s no place in the real world for idealists, yet when he gazes at me in admiration, I know I’ve got it right.
