Whoa! What a meaty Hotch episode. He's a wonderful character but I suspect this job will leave him a broken and haunted man.
I also suspect we will see The Reaper again. If he gets a thrill dominating, control and manipulating cops, I think he will plan how he is going to really fuck with the BAU. He will want to dominate Hotch. He will have plans for Morgan, too; he got too much of a kick out of taunting him when he was arrested. He likes to take down couples, wounding the male then telling him he's going to kill the woman--the person the male would fight to protect, then killing the male. Considering how he had so thoroughly planned his return, when he engages the team again, it should be a real nailbiter. Will he target JJ since he likes young looking females? Of course if it was just the age of the victim, then Reid should be his target. All I know is I'm gonna need a blankey to hide behind.
About the only question I have is what's with the coughing? Is that something that will matter later on? Something he needs a prescription to control? A way to track him perhaps?

Date: 2009-03-21 12:51 am (UTC)But I do hate it when the audience is smarter than the FBI. I KNEW, was silently screaming that they needed to do a Hannibal Lector thing with him - that he's had all these years to figure out every possible thing that could happen. But noooooo. Grrrrr.
I hope he isn't going to be the cliff hanger - I'd prefer some time before having to deal with him again! LOL!
