I don't even understand how you made it to the season finale. We gave up less than halfway through the season because I kept forgetting I was even watching a tv show. The time dilation effect was extraordinary.
It was the stunt casting. The fact that at various points Jack and Daniel would show up kept me diligently watching. I am left with the impression this universe is an AU as even our Jack and Daniel were not the same. I really should stop watching, but there's the Stargate, too (though they've even demystified that in this show, too.)
Argh! Too true! They had people running for their lives here and there, and other people about to be shot...and right up here (in their minds) with the same dramatic weight, was Chloe fading away.
I'm still waiting for some new space alien to come and kill the lot of them.
