Of all the actors the article mentions, I think KU would have made the best Alexander. Sean Bean is a bit too old, but would have done wonders. Such a shame.
I've not seen it yet. I saw a Behind the Scenes about it and, well, I've never been a fan of melodrama and histrionics. I was eagerly awaiting this film, too. Now I'm afraid of getting these images stuck in my mind. If you go, let me know what you think. I'm going to wait a bit more, I think.

Absolutely. There was one show, maybe even the pilot, where it showed them in there hotel room, getting ready to rob the bank. There is one narrow bed and Heyes is pulling on his boots. They was sleeping together! *g* There was such a marvelous fondness in their eyes as they looked at each other. Great show. I am so looking forward to see it broadcast again in Jan. on Encore Western, on the satellite. I hope they will show it without cutting it up.
I will have to look into it to see if we get that channel. I would love some crisp images. My set of tapes are so badly done. I can barely see them anymore. Of course, I wish the studio would get off their asses and put the show out on dvd.
From your mouth to their ear!! That would be the best. All those lost scenes that were cut to feature the chases and gun battles. I wonder if they could be Ben Murphy to do a commentary; wouldn't that be fantastic?
It would be a dream come true if BM could do the commentary. Just think of all the memories he has filed away.... I am afraid they will not get those out until every last person associated with the show is dead. If we ever get them out at all. It is so depressing. Nothing against Wonder Woman, but if they can get that out on DVD why not AS&J??
