TV advice?
Jan. 5th, 2005 01:16 amI'm sitting here listening to 12 year old, 31 inch radio. Yes, my TV is finally on its last gasp. It's had a wriggle across the screen for a year now. Presently, there is a thin white line running horizontally across the middle of the set, so I guess that's that.
So, here's the deal: I have Dish Network and Tivo. As I understand it, HDTV isn't compatible with those, right? And regular DVDs won't play on HDTV? Is that right? There are just so many choices for TVs right now I'm fairly confused, and I don't want to be bamboozled at the TV store tomorrow. Any advice? Anything to stay away from? I was thinking of going to Paul's TV & Video in La Habra; I've heard they've got good deals.
Thanks!
