... I can't believe that they too are going with the inappropriate relationship between teacher and student! I was gobsmacked. House asks Cameron to come back. Why? Because she's a good doctor. Her reply is that that isn't enough. Later, she demands a date from House before she'll come back. Is this not a blatant power play to insert sex into what should be only a teaching experience? Is she not there to learn? Apparently not. She's there to date House and her expected results will be for him to just roll over and pass her or give her great references based purely on her sexual manipulations?? WTF?!

I suppose this is Hollywood's idea of a strong, sexually independant woman. Wrong. I would have admired her (instead of being disgusted with her) if she had strutted up to House, informed him she was now employed elsewhere and she would be picking him up for a date tomorrow night at 7pm. Sharp. That would have been VERY sexy (not that I'd like to see Cameron/House, but it would have been a better choice if they have to go there.)

I'm beginning to think the men in the movie business haven't a clue when it comes to what is ethical in relationships between people at different levels in a power structure. They have to have the maturity of a hormonal teenager to think this is good plotting. I can't believe how many shows I have to watch with one eye and ear closed to minimize what would otherwise be highly enjoyable tv. I shudder to think of working conditions in the office/set, but my guess is there is a lot of abuse there of the folks lower on the food chain/casting couch, whatever.
