Happy New Year!

Hey, it's still January 1 here so I'm not THAT late!

I've just had a lovely two days hanging out with 3 fellow SG fans. We chatted about SG, SGA, Boston Legal, NCIS and many other TV shows, watched an ep each of Legend and NCIS, talked more about politics, life in general, our future goals, drank some lovely wine, ate well, made lots of noise at the stroke of midnight, talked even more and finally fell asleep at 5am. After 8 hours of blissful sleep, we started it all over again. *g* It was a delightful way to welcome the new year.

It is short, but has the most delightful characterizations of Jack, Daniel and Mitchell, and it's very funny.

Kitty update, Reg is still doing fine. All that loving and nuzzling that he did when we brought him home? He started doing it again after his daily dose of pain meds (metacam.) His little back legs were stretching out in silly ecstasy along with more uncontrolled nuzzling. I just gave him another dose tonight, so I'm curious to see if he does it again. Maybe his wonderful display of affection is really just him riding a high. *g*

I hope your 2006 is filled with good friends and good times...and a really big lottery win!

So glad to hear that Reg is better. It does sound like he's been "feeling no pain", so to speak. You go, boy!

I got soaked both days of the weekend - went out just when it was raining hardest - my luck! New Year's Day lunch at the King's Head. I've sort of started an accidental tradition - I've had lunch there the last three years in a row on NY Day.

Alas, no celebrities that I saw, but I went later than I did last year. It was pretty full of tourists and old-timers.

I love cool, wintry weather, but even I was getting tired of the cold and the damp. It's supposed to heat up today and tomorrow and cool down a bit just in time for the bash. Will you be at Lily's?
