Boston Legal squeeing
Jan. 13th, 2006 11:14 amGosh I love this show. I adored that moment at the coat check when Alan was so obviously checking out where Denny had sex, maybe to supply the details in his own Denny fantasy later on that night? But the kicker is when Denny announced he was getting married. Alan was pole axed. He has come to depend on Denny emotionally and now realizes that will probably soon be gone. He was devastated. I loved that look Denny gave him. It so looked like he knew his announcement would hurt Alan, that he knows Alan does want a physical relationship with him and this was a good way to shut him out about that (not that Alan has ever pressed the point.) Maybe Denny's fixation on this woman is fuel by his denial of wanting to reciprocate Alan's desires. The teaser for next week indicated that maybe Denny's future with Bev will be limited, so I have hopes of the boys getting back together.
I should also mention how hot Alan was defending Hands. He really was passionate and gave it all his effort. It should be interesting to see where this storyline takes him. It was also interested to note that Alan isn't a partner but since he is the guy they give the impossible cases to, he sure should be. The firm has a glass ceiling in store for him, too? Poor, poor Alan.
Btw, I finally washed my clothes last night. Brindle went back into the laundry room after his meal and when the spin cycle hit, it was all, "Meow, meow, Me-frigging-ow!!!" He was very upset to be betrayed by the drain regurg, and stared accusingly down at it. But, today, all is well and he's back in the sink.
