tenayaBig Reg's cryptococcis titer is "negative." The vet says to keep giving him a half a pill daily for 2 more
months, then we'll recheck. If it's still negative, we will try him off the medication for a bit. Let's see...that will
be 2 YEARS he's been on diflucan! Jeez!!! I don't even want to figure out what that bill is; Big Reg is the golden boy in more ways than one!
As for the raccoons, the family of six hasn't come by in 2 weeks. I think they've broken up finally, though I don't know under what situation. Mom saw 2 come by last week; she thought they were moving as if in pain. I've been feeding eggs to one the last 2 nights. She is weak, and a bit wobbly, though I think she is a bit stronger after eating the eggs and having some water. She looks like she is recovering from an illness. Who knows what's happened. Distemper? Posion?? Heck, it could even be an injury from a fall for all I know. She is thin, but clear eyed and alert, -- just weak.
I haven't seen CutiePie and that makes me sad.
The three legged raccoon came by last week. It's amazing he does alright. This is the second year I've seen him in this state, though he must be 3 years old. He must be smart to be able to cope and survive.
We're supposed to have very heavy rains tomorrow night. Poor, poor creatures. :(
