Varmit update

Friday night Cutiepie came around at dusk to tank up on water and food. I could her her humming so I'd hoped that she had some babies with her. Last night while at work, Mom said she came back and had two babies with her, but she kept ordering them to stay out of the courtyard. As a result, they frolicked on the berm right outside the big picture window. I work the next two nights, then have one off, then we will be gone for two more for the termite tenting of th house. I'll be very lucky to see them this week!

Also, Mom said two skunk litters showed up yesterday, four kits in each one. I came home a little early this morning and saw some smallish skunks zinging around the courtyard. I don't think these are the ones she was refering to because she mentioned how they followed each other about in a line. These guys this morning must have gotten hold of some expresso grounds.

Oh, remember how Reg had vomiting and diarrhea last Thursday? Scooter had the same thing yesterday, and Brindle was questionable on Saturday and his inner eyelid has been up for a few days now (it's kind of a creepy look on him.)

I gotta go catch up on sleep as I was burning my candle at both ends this weekend, in a fun way. I had a SG1 dream yesterday, so maybe I'll get another one today.

Something contagious going through your furry family? Dang. I know where you were this weekend. I only noticed that it was going on Sunday morning, and by the time I found out it was too late to go. Plus, it always seems to be on the same weekend as the Womanspirit Faire, which I did with catalenamara and Robbie on Saturday, so was pooped on Sunday. I do want to go to the Carnivale one day, I really do!

Awww...babies! Have been watching the Baby programs on Animal Planet this weekend - first the baboon babies, and then the gorilla babies. I feel asleep before Meerkat Manor came on :-( I hope that having the house tented and sprayed doesn't scare the critters off.

Oh, I thought you were at Cairo Carnivale, which was on Saturday and Sunday at Santa Anita. I remember that you & sheepsclothing like that. She went, and I just figured that you did too.

We love going to Womanspirit. It's so free and fun and funky. We were sitting there watching the belly dancing. It's twice a year, so if you're free for the Winter Solstice, maybe you can join us? Don't have a date yet.
