I'm waiting for my car to get back so I can go squee with other fans so I'll keep this brief:

NCIS: I'm not really engaged with the show like last year and I dunno why. Tony was doing well as leader, but the fact that he didn't take the promotion when he *knows* he can do the job , well...it seems to me like he doesn't want to grow up. If he was a team leader, he'd have to quit with the sexual harassment. He's a lawsuit waiting to happen. If he stays on the same level as the women he harasses, he's marginally safer. As you can tell, I'm not won over by his charm. *g* I did love Ducky being all hurt and striking out, though there wasn't a lot of that during this last ep. I'd like to see some resolution there.

THe Bachelor: Rome Well, I got suckered into this because of the Rome/Italy aspect. That would be next on our list of places we want to see and it sounded like maybe we could use this as a travelogue. Um, the people I liked are already gone. I think the socialite is an actress doing Paris Hilton and will be kept around til the end for ratings (the guy's body language indicates he is so turned off by her.) Hopefully, they will go out into the countryside a bit more and soon!

Dexter: A much better use of my time than the calorically empty The Bachelor. Dexter continues to fascinate. Serial killers tend to pick the weak to kill (starting with animals and moving on to small children and vulnerable women.) He is a highly skilled predatory and it's fascinating how Michael C. Hall can carry off making him scarily dangerous and likeable at the same time. The supporting characters have calmed down a bit. The capt. doesn' look like she's gonna jump his bones everytime she sees him, the perceptive cop has stopped calling him a freak every 5 seconds (I miss that though!) and the sister isn't quite as annoying. I still recommend this for those that are looking for a good drama with an excellent mystery to it.

Boston Legal: I love Bethany. I wish they'd keep her instead of the new pair. Speaking of which, why was the woman such a rude bitch and now she plays well with others? What was that all about? Don't care for the guy, but I guess he will be taking over Alan's more socially unacceptable and cutting elements? I wonder if they decided Alan can't have that bastard element about him anymore? The wrestling was a hoot. Sitting on his head?! I do love the whole Denny/Shirly/Alan stuff.

CSI: Wow. They are putting those characters through the ringer aren't they! Wow.

Supernatural: Still not feeling the fannish love. I'd go into detail but since everyone else loves it so, it seems kind of petty to poke at it. *g*

Smallville: Why am I still watching this? Lex and only Lex. Has it escaped the PTB that they haven't bother to *show* Lex being the bastard everyone knows him to be? Argh!!

Without a Trace: Why am I still watching this? Oh yeah, Eric Close, with his 4 minutes of screen time. :::sigh::: I sure hate Jack, though. :::hawk, spit::::

BG: Why am I still watching this? Oh yeah! I'm NOT watching this show!! When SciFi said they'd keep Bridge from selling SG1 to another network, they lost my loyalty. Screw them and their shiny new show of a bunch of losers. It was okay when it was with SG1 and SGA because they made a meal. Lasagna, broccoli and tangerine sherbert. I love lasagna! Sherbert pretty good but it's lite, flavor without substance, but still it's tasty. Broccoli? I'm not going to go out of my way to have a meal of just broccoli. SciFi can choke on their broccoli.

And lastly, Dr Who. What a delightful episode! (was School Reunion.) It was wonderful to see Sara Jane again and K-9! And I adored that they delved into what happens to a companion after they are left by the Doctor. So sad. I like how this new Doctor is a bit less 'patient.' *g* I still dislike Rose, though. I was chortling at Anthony Head's performance. Boy, he really got into it, didn't he! Love it!

The car is back, gotta go!

Ditto, ditto, ditto and ditto. "Smallville" is my crack show. I can't stay away from it, even though I know better. It's all about the love for Lex.

I know, I know! Gawd! I'm even hoping for him to make it work with LANA just because I want someone in his corner. How bad is that?
