My non-SG friend and I were watching the premiere episode. Dr. Beckett was on screen and she going on about him. Was that a Scottish accent? Was he an engineer? I said, no, he was a medical doctor, like Bones on Star Trek, since she was making the Trek connection anyway. So she says, "He's both Scotty *and* Bones? Doesn't that make him Scones?"
