Flamingos?

I almost forgot! When I drove home this morning, the house 3 doors down must have had 30 pink flamingos poised on their lawn, and about 5 adults standing around grinning like idiots. I would have stopped to praise their creative efforts but had to concentrate on avoiding two large dogs playing and bouncing out in front of my car. I'll try to get a photo of pink flamingos soon.

Oh look on the tv; Cheeta is pelting a killer tiger with coconuts. Huh. Wasn't Tarzan in Africa? Do they have tigers in Africa? At least there is a very grumpy James Whitmore yelling and chewing the scenery. And I do have to say Tarzan's little loin cloth is quite fetching and...little. Just a scrape of leather really. Very fetching indeed.

It appears you were right! I drove by today to take a photo and they were all gone! I was thinking it was Xmas decorations but nope. Too bad.

Thiry flamingos? Did they have santa hats on?

I used to love Tarzan movies when I was a kid. I don't know if it was because of the loincloth or not. It certainly might explain a few things though!

No Santa hats, and now no flamingos. Perhaps they were a practical joke. I'm bummed though; I thought it looked fun.

As for Tarzan, yeah, that does explain a great deal. *g*

Have you seen the "skele-mingos" in catalogs? Black flamingos painted with flamingo skeletons on them. Would be perfect for Halloween!
