So, we're emptying out our Tivo.

Dexter: We were anticipating watching this the most and it didn't disappoint! I knew Doakes and Lila would have to die and Dexter would get off scott free, but they still managed to surprise and delight. I was hoping that Dexter would not be the one to kill Doakes because that would be close to violating his code. It was sad that Doakes' reputation was ruined and he will be noted down as being the Bay Harbor Butcher. I did wonder if Lila would want to join Dex in his compulsions because she is a sick puppy. I guess burning is what punches her buttons. Dex following her to Paris to kill her was surprising. If she hadn't threatened the kids--and if she didn't know his secret--maybe she might have lived. Her and Sylar are the villains I most want to see GONE! so at least I got half of what I want. *g*

Journey Man: Great, great episode.I know Dan had no attachment to his daughter and was devastated that his son was gone. The enormity of his choice/actions was all on Katie's face. The fear that Dan would wipe out the only child she knows and she can't do a thing to stop him. Wow. Very impressive. Oh, did you all catch there was a new ep on Wednesday?

Supernatural: Just as great as everyone has said.
I loved the suburban loving old gods, and I adored the brother's flashbacks, and Sam finally giving Dean a festive Christmas. Staking the bad guys with a Xmas tree branch! I loved it. The pulling off of the fingernail was a bit too intense though!

Pushing Daisies was a lot of fun, too. Olive's apartment was a scream! She about disappeared in her bedroom as her jammies had the same pattern as the bedspread, wall paper, carpet and curtains. I really like how strange this show is.

I've yet to watch Without a Trace or Smallville; it's a bad sign that I'm dragging my feet.

I didn't much care for those first couple of Journeyman shows, but it just keeps getting better and better every week. I think this is one of the things we can THANK the writers' strike for, because I believe the show would have been yanked if NBC hadn't wanted to save up material. It's just so intriguing. They definitely tease us with the overall arc, but we get to know a little bit more each week. And I've really enjoyed the stories of the people he's helping.

I totally agree. Unfortunately, a friend said the ep on Wednesday will probably be the last one. I'll try to find out where she got her info.

I was afraid of that. I don't think it ever did well in the ratings. We probably won't get an ending then. *sigh*

What what? His kid got switched out? Because he did something to change the time-line?

And um... "was all his Katie's face"? What's that mean?

Yep. Zach was conceived after they got all hot at a ballgame and rushed home to do the wild thing. So, while he was back in time, he dropped a digital camera. The advanced technology gave us a different computer system than what we now use. He was called out of the ball game when his new computer system went down, thus no nookie. Later that year, they conceived a child and it was a girl.

When he comes home, there is a daughter he doesn't know. Between he and Katie, they figure out what happened. Dan says he has to go back, change things and get back his son. Katie is shocked because if he does that, their daughter will be no more. The actress just did a really good job of projecting her fear.

I loved Journeyman (the last episodes). I still haven't watched the last episodes of Smallville or Supernatural, even though everyone says SPN was good. I just can't seem to bring myself to watch it.
