Hearst Castle has marvelous things and it's in such a lovely part of the state. You should put it on your list of places to go when you only have time for a short trip.

Yeah, I was really surprised by the quality of the bug photos. The flowers had a breeze through them that kept them moving, and then I'd take a photo only to find the flower was empty! It was a lesson in patience--and I was waiting for Mom to get out of the loo. *g*

BTW, I'll try to post a review of the Thurman books tomorrow.
I snagged it off Google for Xmas use...which means I won't be using it past manana. I'm off to Salinas on Saturday and will be back Wednesday night. Hehe - my family thinks I have to work Thursday, but I have Thursday and Friday off - to WRITE, mwahahaaha!
