Happy Holidays!

I work Mon/Tues/Wed so we cooked our Xmas dinner today. Turkey and all the rest. Very nice.

We also went to see National Treasure, which was very entertaining. Very good for a sequel. Of interest was that there was a short cartoon shown before the movie started. A Disney Goofy cartoon. He was buying a home theater. I laughed really hard when it showed him starting to open the many boxes, then the pov switched to be above the house and the house exploded from packing peanuts. *g* And when it was over, the audience applauded! Cool.

Afterwards, we drove home and wandered about looking at the Christmas lights and listened to Christmas music on the radio. It was all very festive and it's relaxing to have it all behind us and can just enjoy other peoples's fun.

And is the sequel as slashy as the original? Because I don't know why they bothered casting a lead female for the first one... ;)

I don't think it is. I saw the first one once when it came out. I had to check to see if they'd recast the sidekick because I remember more of a connection between them. The female lead is with them during their adventures so she's scenes with Ben or Riley. Not too many scenes of Riley and Ben. Maybe a couple of moments?
