I got boo boos.

I did weed whacking yesterday and ended with some pruning down at the street. I was putting all my weight behind the big pruning nippers and when the base of the sapling finally cut through. I, of course, fell forward giving a glancing blow to the telephone pole before falling into the street. I really didn't want to deal with it last night so I just washed it well and shook my head at all the mess. I've just spent over an hour with a needle and tweezers digging out at least two dozen splinters from my right forearm. The fall onto the asphalt gave me some skinned knuckles on right hand, not too bad though. So aside from that, no other damage. I work Fri/Sat/Sun though and it's going to be a bitch rubbing alcohol into my hands 40 times a night.

OUCH! I feel your pain - metaphorically, at least. That sounds nasty. Hope you've got some numbing sort of ointment. Nasty boo-boos, bad, bad! :-( {{HUGS}}

There are not too many pain receptors on the forearm so I'm just aware of a warmth there. The skinned knuckles do sting. Ah well, at least it wasn't worse.

maybe you could paint the boo boos with some of that liquid skin that you can get at the drugstore. It works well from what I've heard. Try to wash instead of using the alcohol hand goop; that's what I do when I have a paper cut as they really sting.Did you catch the Dr.Who 'Voyage of the Damned'? Not one of the better ones, but I know you wanted to see it.
I'm at work now, going deaf from sitting between 2 oscillators...agh!
