Anyone remember that lovely movie with Patrick McGoohan? It was based on the novels of Russell Thorndike and they have been out of print for decades. Apparently, some publishing house has reprinted them because Amazon has a few titles of the series, published in June of 2004. I'm so excited! That movie though...I was utterly captivated by McGoohan's Dr. Syn. Powerful, mysterious, heroic and a total rogue--when he wasn't being the milktoast vicar. And he was sexy as hell. I must have been all of 5 years old when I was swept away by the goings on at Romney Marsh.

Did I mention I was excited?

Oh gawd this is spooky! I'm an Illya (vs. Napoleon) girl, always had a Thing for Arty, and used to think pre-slashy thoughts about Richard when I was barely a teen!

Oh my god! This means we're triplets! LOL!

I guess the common denominator is Sidekick Obsession. Avon, Lex, McCoy, LaCroix....

I was/am often drawn to the sidekick, and/or the 'not classically handsome, but interesting-looking' ones.
