Ads on my Tivo

They were on the title page. One advertised, Watch Continuum, then when you clicked on it, it said rent it or other top rentals.

The other was for Fringe. When you clicked on it, there were behind the scenes, an extended clip, and a music video. The vid was just like a fan vid, but not as good; too many head shots with out action.

I thought that interesting.

Yes, I've noticed the ads and while I often don't mind as they do advertise TV shows like The Closer and movies, it just feels like "argh!" as there's no way to escape marketing.

Then again, if it helps keep Tivo alive, I can't complain too much. :)

At least they aren't animated and obscuring the images I do want to see. And like you say, if it keeps Tivo in business, I'm there for them. :)
