SG: Company of Thieves & Phantoms
Sep. 16th, 2006 12:09 amI still have the last two SG1 and SGAs on Tivo, but since I was home tonight, I thought I'd watch these two "live" to at least be on the same page with the rest of my fandom. But before I go into that, I just want to do a quick update.
When I hopped in my car to drive to work on Wednesday, the battery proceeded to die. Yes, I'd left the car for 18 days, but I had driven it Sat/Sun/Mon/Tues. Strange timing, that's all I got to say. Like work would believe me if I called up at the last minute on my first night back with an excuse like that! So, after I used Mom's car for the last two days, I went down today and got a new battery. The towtruck guy was impressed with how clean the motor was (the Subaru is 5.5 years old) and asked what sort of trouble I'd had with the car (nothing to speak of, really.)
Also, Cutie Pie came by tonight and asked politely to have some kibble. She looked fine, too. And that little skunk that wants to be our new house cat walked past a pile of peanuts and tried to wiggle through the hole in the screen door to get inside. He's is so cute, but the cats would have kittens so to speak. After I shooed him off, he went up on the berm, laid down on his back and rolled back and forth as he groomed his front paws and tummy. He really is a character, but after we coo delightly at his antics, I catch Big Reg frowning at us. Not going to happened, he says.
