...if you live in Southern California. The stats for Glendora:

ISS Sat Mar 14/07:56 PM
DURATION: 4 minutes.
MAX ELEV: 76
APPROACH: 11 above SW
DEPARTURE: 24 above NE

In other words, look to the southwest at 7:56pm and there will be a noticeable "star" that will travel across the sky for nearly 4 mins, nearly over head. For those in other states/countries, go find your data here:

And it looks like Colbert is winning the contest of naming the new ISS node. What will NASA do if he wins? I know I'm voting everyday for him. The website appears to be laboring under the "overwhelming response."

Very cool! There is fine print in the NASA naming thing saying they can choose to use the winning name or not. Colbert is #1 among write-ins, but it's not clear he's #1 overall. Still, it's great publicity for the station!

I saw a news report on Thursday and they gave the numbers. Colbert was already ahead of Serenity at that time. The site won't let me vote today but I noticed 300,000 more votes were in.

It's GREAT for NASA. I'm sure they don't want "Colbert" as a name but while it last, they should take advantage of the free press.

I knew you'd be voting! I've voted twice so far. The interview with the guy from NASA was hilarious!

Yeah, that was pretty funny. NASA is getting more attention than they were expecting. *g*
