The phone woke me up out of a dream this morning. Chase credit card...did you authorize this charge of $9.95?

"Today?" I said. "Probably not." The guy wanted to give me a merchant number to call...which would be fine if there were any pens that works by my bed. I jumped out of bed sending cats flying in every direction and staggered to the computer desk to write down that number plus a number to call him back at. Then I staggered BACK to bed to find my glasses with the hopes that I'd be able to read the number I tried to write down.

Five minutes later with a coffee besides me, I eventually find out that this charge started in August for $19.95, and had been repeated monthly for $9.95. It was an internet charge from the website, All you can feet.com, with the name of Jaqui Colquitt and an email of dus66sds. The small charges were easy for me to overlook because that seems to be a common fee that I run across. I did not notice it. I did not recognize any of the names. This month's charge was taken off, but I'm sure the other's won't be. And of course the card was canceled.

It's such a small amount. I bet someone noticed it, complained and now Chase is auditing their other card holders who were getting billed.

So, it could have been worse. I just wanted to share that one should look at all their charges.
