I won't be able to attend MWC this year, last year the logistics of attending were quite challenging. I've kind of decided to stick to West Coast conventions because from Alaska they are easier to attend. But it would have been great to do another Merlin panel this last season had a lot of interesting things happen.
I was really hung up on the episode where Morguse shows up and tells Arthur the truth and then Merlin totally lied to Arthur's face to prevent Arthur from killing his dad.
This season had a lot of trust issues and lying to each other going on. So far I think Gwen was the only one honest with anyone.
But what kind of stuff did you want to talk about on the panel???
I figured it may not hurt to pinpoint slashiest moments? :)
I forgot to indicate the panel would be slash. We are scheduled for 1pm on Friday! First up. So, if there's not a lot of people and they don't mind, yeah, we'll talk slash!
Can you name some of those moments? I've decided to rewatch the second season. I quite like when Merlin was fighting the possessed thief in the first ep--I think Arthur thought they were fighting over him. A servant catfight.*g*
And of course anytime Arthur was missing clothing or lying in bed was lovely to look at.
I liked all the time Arthur confided in Merlin.
Anyway, any help you give me will be very appreciated and you will be co-moderator from (very) afar. *g*
i'm going to have to re-watch to refresh my memory! :) I'll see what I can come up with as far as my favorite slash moments. :)
The hard part is slash recs. I haven't really run across that many good Merlin/Arthur stories since last year. (at least I don't think? I'll have to check to see when the Merlin Big Bang took place)
I think I particularly lean towards The Addams Family because my brother never let me watch it, or something. There must have been something else on at the same time, and he was three years older so he won.
I'm pretty sure I saw every single episode of The Munsters!
