Chris Isaak
Sep. 15th, 2003 01:55 amI went to Chris Isaak concert tonight; it was very entertaining as always. For those that care, he wore a baby blue suit with sequins, which was later replaced by his suit of mirrors (which was pretty funny when he hopped on a lazy susan and did an impersonation of a disco ball.)
What was very memorable though, was when he played a couple of verses of Johnny Cash's, I Walk The Line. The crowd spontaneously jumped to their feet as soon as they recognised the song. And as the song was ending, he just said, "God bless Johnny Cash" before they went to the next song. It was a lovely, beautifully done tribute. I was amazed that this crowd in Orange county felt so strongly about Cash. It was very touching.
