House and Craig Ferguson

tenayaHouse was pretty good last night. They tweaked the format some so it wasn't predictable. There was a nice House/Wilson moment, and
thank god they had Cameron declare she was over House.
Craig Ferguson is host of The Late Late Show that's on right after Letterman. His humor is witty with a touch of whimsy. He's got a Scottish accent, which is always nice. The guests are interesting, but not the usual actors or celebrities--the guests have content, not just glitz. Many times he has writers on. He had on a past director of the CIA who was fascinating. And he listens to them and asks interesting questions. Yet he can be silly. I like the way he'll come back from a commercial and say, "welcome back, my cheeky wee monkeys." Tonight he was answering viewer mail, and there was the question, "have you ever kissed a man?" He looked devilish and said he'd made out with Brad Pitt. After a few jokes, he said, "you know who I would make out with? That one that looks like a girl, Orlando Bloom." He later said Orlando was gorgeous and looked like he was sensitive and that he'd smell nice.
Anyway, I just wanted to rec this show as it's a lot of fun.
