Thank you. You can't really capture just how BIG that thing is. It's quite extrodinary...and only about 8 hours' drive away.... *g* Don't you have a new camera that needs to be tried out?

Wow, those are gorgeous! I was in the Badlands once; the Grand Canyone looks even more amazing.

It's awesome. A mile deep, 10 miles across. You sit there and try to comprehend erosion and how long that must have taken...and then your brain cramps up. *g* Beautiful colors, too.

Badlands...that's in the Dakotas, right? Did you ever see that Val Kilmer film, Thunderheart? I think that was filmed up there. I'd love to go up there, too.
