Escapade tomorrow!
Feb. 23rd, 2006 12:45 amYippee! Yes, we go pick Bunny up at the airport tomorrow morning, go have lunch at her fav Mexican restaurant, then we're off to sunny Ventura where we'll join forces with sheepsclothing. It should be lovely and I'm so looking forward to it. The ocean, good food and all the talk about slash and tv shows I could want. Live is good.
Of course, this means that I won't get to see the women's long program, or the USA men's curling team try for the bronze medal. Hopefully, tivo will be able to save both for me for viewing later on.
And...here it is at 1am and I still haven't packed. I did gas up the car on the way home from work? Does that count?
Speaking of work, I was giving a breathing treatment to this lady who had an altered level of conciousness, among other problems. She seemed only marginally aware of me and kept up a steady stream of conciousness type of talking. At one point I though she might be saying the tx hurt (which it couldn't of, but nevertheless if it's distressing her, I'll work with her.) I asked if it hurt, she said yes. I asked where and she said, "Epicenter and my edges are all frayed." She also talked about the beast consuming her and how frightened she was of the things that go bump in the night and how they are real. She is only a year older than me.
It reminded me to be grateful for all my blessings.
