Doctor Syn
Aug. 25th, 2004 06:01 pmAnyone remember that lovely movie with Patrick McGoohan? It was based on the novels of Russell Thorndike and they have been out of print for decades. Apparently, some publishing house has reprinted them because Amazon has a few titles of the series, published in June of 2004. I'm so excited! That movie though...I was utterly captivated by McGoohan's Dr. Syn. Powerful, mysterious, heroic and a total rogue--when he wasn't being the milktoast vicar. And he was sexy as hell. I must have been all of 5 years old when I was swept away by the goings on at Romney Marsh.
Did I mention I was excited?

So does that makes us 2/3 sisters? ;-)

Date: 2004-08-26 05:03 am (UTC)You may have noticed I put a bid in for one of your The Champions DVDs. I was quite smitten with Richard. Are we now 4 for 5??
There's a re-occuring theme here, I think. ;-)

Date: 2004-08-26 05:07 am (UTC)Well in the case of The Champions it's a tie between Richard and Stuart. After all we did get The Interrogation where Stuart's character got "interrogated" and he did end up getting knocked over the head often enough ;-)
So yeah 4/5 sisters
