My local news announced that ABC has announced four early renewals for...

Desperate Housewives, Boston Legal, Lost and Alias.

I'm so glad they are renewing Lost, it's one of my favorite TV shows. I should probably try watching Alias it seems like an interesting show. :)

Not sure about the other two. :) but I'm happy for their fans. :)

Alias is great. You probably know it's made by the same people who produce/write "Lost." The writing is awesome and the characters really well done. But it's one of those shows that is *really* complicated to follow. We started from Season 1 and have worked our way through and you really have to pay attention. I'm not sure it's a show you could just pick up and start watching. Although I read an article the other day that was saying that Season 4 had changed the format somewhat and made the episodes more stand-alone or something. So maybe they changed it somewhat this season to make it easier for new viewers to come on board.

I saw the first ep, but didn't follow up on it and thus am too far behind. I did buy S1 as a Xmas gift for a friend, but I thought I might borrow it at some point.

Well I'm downloading season 1 of Alias, it's going to take 50 more hours...but I'll give it a shot from the beginning, I hate watching tv series out of order. Though some you can get away with like Star Trek. :)

I haven't watched Alias, but I enjoy the other three shows. I was concerned about Boston Legal (which stars James Spader and William Shatner) because they've replaced it with Grey's Anatomy at the moment. It's good news all around.
